Regs4yachts act as non-exclusive RINA large yacht surveyors and, as such, we are able to survey on behalf of RINA if no exclusive surveyors are available.

Our unique appointment to both the Cook Islands and Marshall Islands along with our appointment as non-exclusive RINA large yacht surveyors means that we can take the lead role. This can considerably reduce the normal duplicated involvement of Flag and Classification Society if you Class with RINA and choose to flag with either Cook Islands or Marshall Islands.

Cook Islands

Regs4ships and our subsidiary regs4yachts are appointed as Deputy Registrars and Surveyors for the Cook Islands Ships Registry for all sizes of vessel.

We can provide both registration and statutory surveys as a one-stop-shop service providing significant cost savings for owners.

We are pleased to be associated with the Cook Islands Ships Registry who, in recent years, have been accepted as a full member of the International Maritime Organization. They are committed to customer service and the use of advanced technology to help them deliver it. They have established a network of Deputy Registrars around the world and are rolling out an online system to ensure that registration procedures and customer service will be able follow the sun around the world.

The Cook Islands Ships Registry has also developed an innovative service for Yacht owners which enables them to join the Cook Islands Yacht Squadron upon registration in the Cook Islands. Membership of the Cook Islands Yacht Squadron is the easiest and fastest way to register your yacht and also the most cost-effective, since it is not necessary to register a company in the country. Marshall Islands

Regs4ships and our subsidiary regs4yachts are "authorized surveyors" for surveys under the Marshall Islands (MI) Commercial Yacht Code. We can perform surveys on commercial yachts under 500 GT and on private yachts of any size.

Regs4yachts can perform specified statutory survey, administration safety inspection and certification functions on Marshall Islands-flagged yachts, as they relate to the initial and subsequent surveys and periodic re-inspections or examinations of yachts, as defined by the Commercial Yacht Code (MI-103) and in the review and approval of plans, and associated activities.

We can also perform the ISM and ISPS Code Verification and Certification Services for yachts (excluding those which are bareboat registered under another Flag State), for the owners, ship managers or bareboat charterers of yachts who have responsibility for the duties imposed by the ISM and ISPS Codes.

We are appointed as "Nautical Inspectors" for conducting "Administration Safety Inspections" as required by the MI Commercial Yacht Code.

We can perform "Administration Safety Inspections" on all yachts, regardless of size or type. The MI Commercial Yacht Code requires that Administration Safety Inspections are performed on all Commercial Yachts greater than 500 GT annually.
